Are galaxy and star projectors safe for kids?
Used as intended, yes. LED projectors run cool and are made to be night lights. Laser star projectors use low-power lasers, but nobody (kids included) should look straight into the lens. Pick a model with a timer so it switches off once they're asleep, and keep cords out of reach.
How much of the ceiling will a projector cover?
Set on a nightstand or dresser, most bedroom projectors fill a typical 10 to 15 ft ceiling. The farther the projector sits from the surface, the bigger (and softer) the image gets. Each product page shows the effect and how the unit is powered.
What's the difference between a galaxy projector and a planetarium projector?
A galaxy projector creates an artistic nebula-and-stars effect for mood lighting. A planetarium projector uses printed discs to show real constellations, planets and the Milky Way, so it's the better choice if you want to learn the night sky.
Do I need Wi-Fi or an app?
No. Most models run from buttons or the included remote. A few smart models add an app or Bluetooth for music and extra modes, and we note that on the product page.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free on every US order. Each product page shows an estimated delivery window, and you'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.
What if it doesn't look right in my room?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Email us with your order number and we'll send instructions. If anything arrives damaged or defective, we'll make it right at no cost to you.
Can I use a projector in a car or a tent?
USB-powered models can run from a power bank, and some rechargeable projectors are made to be portable. Check the power details on each product page. Never use a projector where it could distract a driver.
Will a projector keep me awake?
Most people find slow-moving stars relaxing. For sleep, choose warmer colors, lower brightness and a timer so the light turns off on its own.
Do laser star projectors hurt your eyes?
The lasers in consumer star projectors are low power and the light is spread across the ceiling, which is safe to look at. Don't stare directly into the lens or point it at eyes, and supervise young children.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Email us as soon as possible with your order number. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll do our best to update or cancel it.
Do you ship outside the US?
We focus on the United States, where shipping is free. If you're elsewhere, the checkout shows whether your country is available and what delivery costs.
Is there a warranty?
If a product arrives damaged or stops working because of a defect within 30 days of delivery, contact us and we'll replace or refund it.
